Before the consultation
I will ask you to complete a confidential health questionnaire and 3 day diet diary. Ideally, these will be returned to me at least 48 hours before your appointment. This will allow me to gain an overview of your general health and diet prior to the initial consultation and to maximise our time together.
During the consultation
I will take a detailed case history, assessing all aspects of your health including current and previous health conditions, symptoms, treatments, family medical history, diet and lifestyle, physical activity, and details of any medications or supplements you may be taking. We will discuss your health goals and concerns and work together to design a personalised plan which will focus on food and lifestyle recommendations, and may include suggestions for nutritional supplements. In some cases I may also recommend functional testing. Certain tests may be available through your GP, while others can be accessed through private laboratories.
After the consultation
You will receive your full plan in writing. This will be emailed to you within 2 working days and will include any resources that may be helpful to you i.e. meal plans, recipes, handouts, useful websites.

Consultations take place at Leaf Health in Hitchin, or at Fairhaven Wholefoods in Letchworth. For anyone unable to attend a clinic, I may be able to visit you at home or in the workplace. I can also offer follow up consultations via Skype (initial consultations should ideally take place face to face).
